From the moment I arrived at HOSHINOYA Fuji a sense of pure calm fell over me. A soft breeze blew through the surrounding forest making the red pines dance in a sensory wonderland. The sweet smell of conifer filled my nose as I made my way around the property through the slender paths in the forest. Minimalistic pods overlook Lake Kawaguchi and Mount Fuji ahead making for ethereal views at all times of the day. Locally foraged and hunted ingredients are on their impressive menus, making for a very memorable meals.
