Wow, what an incredible year this has been. 2016 had it’s fair share of ups and downs but as I sit here reflecting over what all has happened over the past year my heart feels so full. To start, this passion project website was born in late February. It started as a small blog on my cooking website but after many months and long nights, it finally went live. It’s been a time consuming project but one that I’m so proud of. Getting published multiple times in the NY Daily News is a dream that I never thought was obtainable and somehow this year it happened.
I’ve been so lucky to have seen so many incredible places around the world and met some equally as incredible people. Late nights spent in an exotic destination with new friends laughing is what makes my world feel complete. From ziplining through the cloud forest in Costa Rica to hiking to Tiger’s Nest Monastery in Bhutan to paragliding in Pohkara Nepal this year was nothing short of adventurous. I went on my first solo trip which to many people, including me, seemed daunting… but it wasn’t. It was incredible and a life changing experience that I’m grateful everyday for.
Thank you to everyone that has taken the time to read anything that I’ve posted on here. I love sharing my experiences and feeling as though my readers have experienced it with me. I’m so excited for 2017 and the opportunities I’ve already been given in the New Year coming up. I look forward to another year filled with traveling far and wide and I can’t wait to share it with all of you. I hope it inspires you to get out there and see the world. Cheers to 2016!
